Material selection is where a good moulded part begins. The wrong polymer shows up later as warpage, wear or field failure.
For structural parts under load, Nylon and PC offer strength and impact resistance. For chemical exposure, PP and HDPE resist a wide range of media. ABS remains the workhorse for rigid parts with an excellent surface finish.
